What a View

Madam Ivanova complained to the housing commission that she could no longer live in her room.

'Why not?' they asked her.

'Well, just opposite my window is the men's bath-house,' she said, 'and there are naked men wandering around all day.'

They decided to send a team to investigate.

The inspectors came and looked out of the window. They couldn't see a thing.

'Madam Ivanova, you can't see a thing from your window!'

'Can't you, indeed! You just climb up on the cupboard!'
