Rabinovich came to the visa department to apply for a visa to Israel.

'You are making a great mistake leaving the Soviet Union,' the official there told him.

'You know the old saying, it's always better where we're not.'

'You're absolutely right,' agrees Rabinovich.

'That's why I'm going somewhere you won't be.'
