Leaving for Israel

A Jewish family is leaving for Israel.

The husband is packing portraits of the Soviet leaders in his suitcase.

'What are you doing that for?' asks his wife in astonishment.

'Why on earth would you want to take those swine with you?'

'But, that's just it!' says the husband.

'If I ever begin to feel nostalgic I'll look at these and think to myself, thank God I left!'
