Moscow Striptease

It was decided to open a striptease in Moscow's Conference Palace. Submissions were made, permission granted, billboards posted, but not a soul turned up to the first performance.

Next morning there was a call from the Central Committee: 'Why was the undertaking a failure?'

'We've no idea,' replied the organizers. 'It was superbly organized and all the striptease artists had a solid Party record, they were Bolsheviks from 1905.

Some of them even knew Lenin personally.'
